United Kingdom Compliance
VSL treats the United Kingdom separately from the EU/EEA for compliance purposes. UK privacy, electronic-communications and financial-services requirements are assessed against the UK rules that apply to the actual VSL workflow.
UK GDPR and Data Protection Act
VSL applies the UK data-protection principles to the personal information used in UK workflows.
VSL aligns UK processing with lawfulness, fairness and transparency; purpose limitation; data minimisation; accuracy; storage limitation; security; and accountability. VSL keeps processing records and privacy information aligned with the data used in each feature.
The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 changed parts of the UK data-protection framework and is reflected in current ICO guidance. VSL uses the current UK position when assessing purpose, lawful basis, data-subject rights and operational controls.
Electronic communications
VSL separates necessary service and security communications from optional marketing.
Cookies, direct electronic marketing and similar communications are assessed under the UK GDPR and PECR framework. VSL uses consent or opt-out controls where the relevant rule requires them and keeps transactional or security messages distinct from marketing activity.
Payments and digital assets
UK payment and crypto availability is determined by the exact provider, activity and transaction.
Busha currently lists the United Kingdom among countries supported for crypto transactions. That provider listing does not mean VSL itself performs a regulated UK crypto or payment service and does not make every provider rail available to every VSL user.
VSL keeps the software and payment-orchestration layer separate from provider custody and settlement. Provider KYC, transaction-purpose, country, asset, network, limits and risk controls continue to govern the financial rail.
Regulatory and provider references
Primary regulator, government and provider materials used to frame this public compliance overview. External documents can change; VSL reviews the applicable source before relying on it for a launch or feature decision.
